Plan the connection before the appliance arrives
A new cooktop or other gas appliance may need different connections or pipework from the unit it replaces. Share the model and installation requirements before booking so the existing supply and work scope can be considered.
- Gas appliance connections
- Gas installations and associated pipework
- Leak testing
- Required compliance documentation for the agreed work
Gas smell? Treat it as urgent
If you suspect a gas leak, avoid flames and electrical switches, leave the affected area and contact your gas supplier's emergency service from a safe location. Call 000 if there is immediate danger. Do not try to locate a leak with a flame or repair it yourself.
