Repair or replace? Start with the fault
A loss of hot water does not always mean the whole system needs replacing. Tell us what has changed: temperature, water pressure, leaks or recovery time. We can assess the plumbing side and explain whether a repair or replacement makes sense.

Electric storage hot water
Electric storage systems hold heated water in a tank. The right capacity depends on household size, shower habits and when water is reheated. Replacing an existing unit also requires checking the available space, plumbing connections and any electrical work needed.
Heat pump hot water
Heat pumps transfer heat from the surrounding air to the water. Site selection matters: airflow, operating sound, available space and the manufacturer's installation requirements should be considered. Axius can discuss suitability without assuming every property is right for a heat pump.
A replacement planned around your household
Tell us your current system type, how many people use hot water and whether demand has changed. We will discuss the plumbing requirements and any related trade work before the replacement. For an urgent loss of hot water, call rather than relying on an online enquiry.
